Having personal courage means not letting your fears or doubts overcome you, define you or stop you from reaching your goals.  It means doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.   Calling upon your personal courage means that you recognize your fears or doubts, and find the strength and determination to follow what you believe to be right, regardless of cost to one’s self, and irrespective of the disapproval of others.

This week, as you continue to develop your healthy habits, you’ll be encouraged to:

  • identify behaviors you may be afraid or resistant to change
  • examine why you are hesitant to change
  • examine how making the change will be more beneficial than remaining “status quo”
  • develop a plan for making the change.
